The problem
A travel agency's site has one job above all others: turn a browsing visitor into a booking inquiry before they bounce to a competitor tab. That means the tour/activity information, pricing context, and a clear next step all need to be reachable in a few taps on a phone, not buried in a slow, desktop-oriented template.
My role
I designed and implemented the site as the sole developer, using WordPress with Elementor Pro so the agency can update tours and content themselves without needing a developer for every change.
What I built
- A fully responsive booking-oriented layout, built mobile-first
- A WordPress/Elementor Pro foundation chosen specifically so non-technical staff can maintain content after handoff
- A structure organized around the agency's tour offerings, built for a visitor to move from "what's available" to "how do I book" quickly
Results
I don't have Royal Sky Marrakech's booking or traffic data, so no conversion or lead numbers are attached here — that would need the agency's own analytics to state honestly.
Owner TODO: a real booking-volume figure, a testimonial from the agency, or a before/after performance snapshot would replace this note.
Note: at the time of this write-up, the live site's HTTPS certificate returned a handshake error from at least one network path tested. The site loads normally over plain HTTP. This looks like a hosting/SSL configuration issue on the client's end rather than anything in the delivered code, and is worth the agency checking with their host.
